Hello from Big Bear!

The slopes closed last Sunday and now the town is really empty. Nobody seems to know how nice it is up here this time of year. The fishing is great  and the shores are empty, there are no speed boats or seadoos to chase the fish around. May 17 is the first fishing derby of the season. The entry fee is $50 and the prizes are many. The weather is actually nicer than predicted, temps have been in the 60’s during the day and upper 30’s at night. Nice.
