Sunday, January 11th, 2009It happens every year, the flatlanders come up, get lost, leave their trash, and go home. I understand that this is not your familiar ground, but the rules of the road are the same everywhere here in CA. Right turns from the left lane, left blinker on then turn right, or no signal at all, the list goes on. You can sign up for my driving class anytime. There is also a new law (on the books since last July) that says you cannot drive and use a cellphone. Who cares? If you can’t drive without using a phone then you should seek help. Are we that busy? More driving news… I went to L.A. last week to see my Lakers beat Indiana. Last time I checked the speed limit was 65mph. I was cruising 70 in the commuter lane and you would think I was rowing a boat. People were crossing the double yellow to go around me and giving me the stink-eye as they broke the law. You are incredible. Follow the rules or don’t play!
